Chris Donahue, founder and mastermind behind the Black Rainbow concept, is no stranger to life on two wheels. Since the age of seven, Chris has been racing BMX bikes and constantly searching for new ways to chase the adrenaline rush he craved.
BMX was his first love, and he carried that passion from the tracks to the streets, earning recognition and time in the spotlight within the BMX world before eventually transitioning into mountain biking just as the Freeride movement was beginning to carve out its place in the industry.
Over the years, injuries and family responsibilities forced him to step away from riding for periods of time, but in recent years he has resurfaced with the same drive and passion that shaped his early career. While he still rides BMX and mountain bikes, Chris has discovered a new obsession: motorcycles.
That passion, combined with the motivation to build a brand and support the local riding scene, keeps him constantly busy alongside his full-time career as an Electrical Project Manager.
